Skid Mounted Filtration Plant

Site: Queensland Completed: 2002 Capacity: 120kL/day Special Features of the Skid Mounted Filtration Plant: 304SS skid mounted, automatic backwash and chemical dosing. Project Description of the Skid Mounted Filtration Plant: Surface water containing high levels of turbidity and colour are dosed with a coagulant and reacted in a 270L FRP pressure vessel before being filtered out via a 24" automatic  backwashing multi-media filter. The filtered water was dosed with sodium hypochlorite from a flow paced dosing system to provide disinfection. The Skid Mounted Filtration Plant is controlled via Allen & Bradley PICO controller and is mounted on a 304 SS skid.
