Skid Mounted Filtration Plant

Site: Papua New Guinea Completed: 2003 Capacity: 360 KL/Day Special Features of the Skid Mounted Filtration Plant: 304SS skid mounted, automatic backwashing filtration system with coagulant & chlorine dosing systems. Project Description of the Skid Mounted Filtration Plant: Surface water with high levels of colour & some turbidity is dosed with coagulant before mixing via an overhead mixer in a 2000L PE tank. Coagulated water is then pumped to a 36” diameter automatic backwashing multimedia filter and a 42” diamenter activated carbon filter. Filtered water is disinfected with liquid chlorine prior to storage and distribution.
